Cowboys' Gregory conditionally reinstated
Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory was conditionally reinstated by the NFL on Friday, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Gregory can't play until Oct. 25, when the Cowboys face the Washington Football Team in Week 7, but he can report to team facilities for testing, activities, individual workouts, and meetings as of Sept. 7. He can start practicing with his teammates the week of Oct. 5.
The 27-year-old thanked NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after the announcement.

Gregory, who reportedly filed for reinstatement last March, was suspended for the fourth time in his career in February 2019 for violating the league's substance-abuse policy and the terms of a previous conditional reinstatement.
He recently expressed disappointment with how the NFL handled his reinstatement process, saying he was "asking more questions than I'm getting answered."
Gregory was suspended twice during the 2016 season after failing a drug test and received a year-long ban in 2017.
The 2015 second-round pick last played in 2018, when he racked up six sacks, two forced fumbles, and 15 quarterback hits through 14 games.
He's made 28 regular-season appearances since entering the NFL while missing 52 contests (46 due to suspensions).
