Bears' Nagy emphasizes Trubisky 'won' job over Foles
by Jack Browne from on (#57TPJ)
The Chicago Bears didn't hand Mitchell Trubisky back his starting job, the quarterback took it, according to head coach Matt Nagy.
"Mitch won the job," Nagy said, according to Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times. "I think that's very important for him, to us, to understand that he worked very hard to get to this point."
He added: "For him to come through the way he did, I'm excited for him."
Trubisky was in a camp battle with Nick Foles, whom the Bears traded for this offseason.
More to come.
