[SOLVED] Slackers Lounge?

I really do enjoy the weather thread for taking a moment in getting to know the members of this community and where they dwell. I searched for similar threads in here for a general lounge, and couldn't find one for Slackware. I want to know: What does everyone think about a thread for general/random posts? Obviously there need to be some rules and regulations for making sure things don't get ridiculous. Sometimes these threads do become a problem, but I don't see that happening here (hopefully). Everyone in here is pretty laid back, plus it helps at times to keep other threads from getting off topic.

Ideas for this thread:

• Current events (not too political)
• New technology (building a new pc, etc)
• News (Slackware)
• Venting (keep it clean)
• Shout outs (dropping by to say hi!)
• Just other stuff that maybe doesn't need a thread. (like this? lol :D)

Just an idea. I'll try and put a poll on this if I can. For some reason, adding a poll before posting this is not possible. So if I can't add a poll, I will get someone to close this.
