Arc theme not working properly with GTK3

Hello,
I have installed the Arc theme from Slackbuilds to use with GTK applications such as Firefox and Hexchat. However, I'm noticing it no longer seems to want to render properly on Slackware64 -current. I had previously been using it fine on my previous computer, but just purchased a new workstation and installed a fresh installation of Slackware64 -current on it. It is an up to date installation of Slackware64 -current, just like the previous workstation. However, this workstation now uses an NVIDIA GPU and I am running the proprietary drivers.
The issue occurring is that the Arc themes, and specifically the Arc-Dark theme show a white solid outline around windows, text highlighting in the interface text boxes does not work, and spacing between buttons are broken. I am attaching a screenshot showing these issues. The file manager picture just has my username partially obfuscated, but still shows the spacing issues between the directory navigation buttons.
I tried modifying the css file of the theme in /usr/share/themes/Arc-Dark/gtk-3.0/gtk.css to comment out the "outline-style:" section. However, that didn't change anything. The other included GTK themes with KDE4 work.
Any help would be appreciated in resolving this!
