Can't install SMC in Lite 5.0

Linux Lite 5.0 is based on Ubuntu 20.04.
Can't install Secret Maryo Chronicles. I have tried both a .deb and a tar.gz. Tried finding a repository that has it, but no joy, downloading the file looks like the only option.
Same problem, dependencies unsatisfied. Libbost-filesystem 1.65.1 required, but Lite has a newer version and the oldest I could find in the Package Manager was 1.67.1.
It seems like it has been a while since the game was updated, I'd bet using an older distro would work.
