TTY1 won’t show up after installing PureOS (GNU/gnome 9) help
by MightyChristian from LinuxQuestions.org on (#58EFY)
I installed PureOs via live USB, to an extra partition (230ish GB) of my 1 TB SSD (Western digital SSD) onto my HP laptop with an AMD duel core, 8 GB ram, I installed the SSD myself, and successfully cloned windows from the old HDD to this new WD SDD a while ago, but other then that this laptop is from HP. After installing PureOS and pressing ESC to boot lunix (Since it wouldn't boot to Linux automatically even though it was supposed to I think, im a newbie) there was no GUI to log in with, just a empty (blank) command prompt up on the screen, so then I hit left arrow key and TTY1 is missing and TTY2-6 show up but when I try to put my username and password tty 2-6 don't let me log in, so then since there was nothing I could do I simply reinstalled PureOs without a password sadly it just wouldn't boot at all when I did this.
My computer model number is HP Model 15-aw008ds HP Pavillion notebook

I have only had one hurdle over another with lunix, its been soo hard but I thought before giving up to reach out here, there are no articles anywhere to help me with this problem but a few others have this same issue as I found while looking on YT and the internet for answers.
I have been (unsuccessfully) trying to use lunix for about a month or less.
Don't get the wrong impression i really want Linux to work but its been difficult.
PS: Here is a link to a virtual boot of PureOS, its a website I just found being on the Linux forms here https://distrotest.net/PureOS
