Is Ubuntu 20.04 compatible with Optimus out of the box ?

I own an Optimus laptop, i7-7700HQ + GTX 1050 ti. I have two questions.
(1) I think it works out of the box since 20.04 comes with nvidia-driver-440 and xorg 1.20.8 am i right ?
(2) Using the NVIDIA X Server Settings GUI app, Do the Performance, Power Saving and On-demand modes work out of the box on Ubuntu 20.04 ? or do I need to do extra steps ?
