Activate scroll lock in Zorin OS

Hi, I have a backlit keyboard that requires scroll lock enabled for the backlight to work.
In Ubuntu 20.04.1, I ran xmodmap -e "add mod3 = Scroll_Lock" in terminal and also saved the code in the startup applications, thus the backlight started working. In Zorin OS, the command doesn't seem to work. What should I run here?
