Can't connect to my local ftp server

I installed fedora server on my laptop T420 which is connected to my wireless home network. I can connect to the server through ssh, but i decided to install also ftp server. I installed fpt server but if i try to connect i get 'connection timed out'. I checked port 21 and it is opened and the firewall doesn't block incoming connections.
