Ravens sign Humphrey to 5-year extension worth reported $98.75M
The Baltimore Ravens announced Thursday they have signed cornerback Marlon Humphrey to a five-year extension through 2026.
Humphrey's new deal is worth $98.75 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. He'll become the NFL's second-highest-paid cornerback at $19.75 million per year, behind only Jalen Ramsey of the Los Angeles Rams.
Humphrey's contract also includes $66 million in guarantees, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The 24-year-old Humphrey has quickly emerged as one of the league's premier coverage defenders. He was named to his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro squad in 2019 after amassing three interceptions, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries (two returned for touchdowns).
Baltimore selected Humphrey 16th overall in the 2017 draft out of Alabama. He's recorded eight interceptions and broken up 44 passes across 49 games (31 starts).
