The New England Patriots didn't return any other positive COVID-19 tests after quarterback Cam Newton reportedly tested positive for the virus Saturday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The NFL is now waiting on the Kansas City Chiefs' results, as they're scheduled to face the Patriots in Week 4 and also returned a positive test. The infected Chiefs player reportedly is practice squad quarterback Jordan Ta'amu.

Patriots players will undergo a second round of tests Sunday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

After postponing the game, which was initially scheduled for Sunday afternoon, the league plans to stage it Monday barring other positive tests from the teams, Dianna Russini of ESPN reports.

With Newton apparently headed to the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Patriots reportedly are expected to start veteran signal-caller Brian Hoyer against the Chiefs.

The NFL was already forced to remove one game from the Week 4 schedule, rebooking the Tennessee Titans-Pittsburgh Steelers tilt for Week 7 due to a Titans' COVID-19 outbreak.
