Report: Chargers' Ekeler to miss multiple weeks with knee, hamstring injuries
The Los Angeles Chargers reportedly expect running back Austin Ekeler to miss multiple weeks due to a hyperextended knee and hamstring injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Ekeler was sporting crutches and a brace following Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Schefter added.

Head coach Anthony Lynn didn't provide an optimistic update on the running back following the game.
"It looked pretty bad," Lynn said to the media following the game, according to Sports Illustrated's Fernando Ramirez.
The Chargers struggled to run the football following Ekeler's departure and totaled just 46 yards on the ground on 23 attempts. Despite his first-quarter exit, Ekeler's 12 rushing yards on the day were second only to quarterback Justin Herbert, who led the team with 14 rushing yards.
Ekeler entered the game with 236 rushing yards and one touchdown this season. The rusher has put up over 900 yards from scrimmage in each of the last two years.
Tailbacks Justin Jackson and Joshua Kelley are the Chargers' backups. Jackson has rushed for 410 yards over his career while Kelley has accumulated over 40 rushing yards in each of his first three NFL games.
