The Minnesota Vikings survived a fourth quarter push from the Houston Texans with a strong defensive stand near the goal line to win, 31-23. The Texans trailed by eight late in the fourth quarter when Deshaun Watson darted a potential touchdown pass to Will Fuller V who couldn't control the catch. Dalvin Cook had a career-high 27 carries for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. Adam Thielen and rookie receiver Justin Jefferson each eclipsed 100 receiving yards on the day.
