About downloading Ubuntu OS software
by frank wallis from LinuxQuestions.org on (#58V0N)
Hello Guys,
I have a "Dell"computer which has following hardware configuration:
System Type : 32 bit Operating System.
Installed Memory : 2 GB.
Processor : Genuine Intel(R)CPU 1.67 Ghz.
I am not sure whether my computer hardware architecture is "32 bit" or "64 bit".
I want to install the latest distros of Ubuntu version 16.04.7 which is available on this website under the link "Download Linux". Are all these latest distros of Linux softwares in the form of "ISO" image file?
Do you really think my computer hardware configuration is not enough for the installation of this "Ubuntu version" of Linux?
Can I install this version of Ubuntu Linux on a vmware machine if I install it on this "Dell" computer?
I hope my question is clear.
Thanks
