openSUSE Tumbleweed Plasma 5 login trouble

openSUSE Tumbleweed Plasma 5 login trouble for one user.
imagine there is a conf or pref file I could delete.
User can switch to Gnome and login - prefers Plasma 5, so the password's correct something got to be broke!
appreciate any suggestions - couldn't find any thing on the net so far.
I logged in as root to Plasma and got in with no problem.
