Mouse speed/sensitivity adjustment disabled mouse altogether (Fedora 32) and my ability to change that setting

I was adjusting the mouse speed and sensitivity and, unfortunately, I hit on a combination that ended up disabing all mouse movement. Now, whenever I login, that no-mouse-movement setting takes effect and my only way out is to reboot, again. However, that lead me to an even worse problem - Fedora 32 gnome login screen only prompts with my username and I need to login as root to fix the mouse issue.
