The game between the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills scheduled for Sunday will take place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET, the league announced Thursday.

Additionally, the Bills, who were scheduled to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football in Week 6, will now square off against the reigning Super Bowl champions on Sunday of that week, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The rescheduled games will remain in place as long as Tennessee doesn't register more positive COVID-19 tests in the coming days.

Last week, a coronavirus outbreak hit the Titans, affecting several players and staff, and closing the team's training facility. The NFL was also forced to postpone Tennessee's Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The NFL and the players' union are reportedly investigating multiple unauthorized workouts involving Titans players, who currently aren't allowed to enter the team's facility under the league's COVID-19 protocols.

A group of Titans players reportedly conducted a workout on Sept. 30 despite the NFL banning such gatherings outside facilities this season.

The game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos was also moved from Sunday to Monday due to virus concerns connected to the Patriots, who have three players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, including quarterback Cam Newton and cornerback Stephon Gilmore.
