The Boston Bruins have re-signed defenseman Kevan Miller to a one-year deal that could be worth up to $2 million with bonuses, according to TSN's Pierre LeBrun.

Miller's base salary and cap hit will be $1 million, according to PuckPedia. The 32-year-old can reportedly earn the following bonuses: $250,000 if he's on the Bruins' roster on the first day of the season; $250,000 if he plays in 10 regular-season games; $125,000 if he plays in 20 games; $100,000 if he plays in 30 games; $75,000 if he plays in 40 games; and $200,000 if he plays in the postseason.

Miller missed the entire 2019-20 season while dealing with numerous setbacks in his recovery from a knee injury. He appeared in 39 games during the 2018-19 season, recording 7 assists.

The blue-liner averaged 19:28 of ice time per game during his last full season with the Bruins in 2017-18, playing over 150 minutes on the penalty kill.
