Custom Kernel Upgrade
by g4njawizard from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5939Y)
Hello,
I try to figure out, how to "easily" upgrade a cutom kernel? Is there a way to make custom settings persist accross upgrades?
I am unable to increase size of /boot.
Even if I install Linux from new, I am unable to increase the boot partition, no matter how much free space I take from the main partition. With 244MB /boot size I can hold 2 Kernels and it already happened, that I accidently deleted a custom Kernel and I had to recompile... that takes some time...
