New Zealand opposition leader Judith Collins has taken aim at Tasmania, calling it Australia's poor cousin" during a penultimate day of election campaigning.
In another off-script moment in her struggling campaign, the leader of the centre-right National party sledged Australia's smallest state on Thursday, saying she wouldn't want New Zealand to be like it.
