Where does xdg-mime store its data?

I am changing some default apps for certain document formats with

Code:$ xdg-mime default application mimetypeBut I would like to deploy those changes to an user as a config file. Where is that data written in users' home directories? A quick skim over xdg-mime manpage didn't provide any insights.
