Kansas City Chiefs running back Le'Veon Bell made it known he has no problem with any role his new team assigns him, even if it means taking a lesser part than what he's used to.

"When I decided to come here, I knew the weapons they have and there's only one football," Bell said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher.

Having been released by the New York Jets last week, Bell now joins a Kansas City backfield that has relied on rookie sensation Clyde Edwards-Helaire to carry the load this season.

Head coach Andy Reid isn't worried about favoring one running back, noting each rusher will benefit the other.

"It doesn't hurt to have a running mate or two, different flavors isn't bad to throw at a defense," Reid said, according to Hayley Lewis of 41 Action News.

Bell is eligible to make his Chiefs debut Sunday against the Broncos. With the running back getting his first practice Wednesday, Reid says the team is taking it "day-by-day."

The veteran running back has rushed for 6,199 yards and added another 3,160 receiving yards since entering the league in 2013.

"It's going to be fun, I think there's a lot of weapons, it's going to be fun for me," Bell said.
