Issues with compilation of linux kernel 5.9.1

I am working on Ubuntu 19.04 and trying to compile linux kernel v5.9.1
The system was initially showing error with version of pahole . I upgraded it to 1.17.
Now it is sowing this error while running-
KSYM .tmp_vmlinux.kallsyms1.o
LD .tmp_vmlinux.kallsyms2
KSYM .tmp_vmlinux.kallsyms2.o
LD vmlinux
BTFIDS vmlinux
FAILED: load BTF from vmlinux: Unknown error -2make: *** [Makefile:1162: vmlinux] Error 255
