[SOLVED] pulseaudio issues, mic, and screen capture
by coralfang from LinuxQuestions.org on (#59HCY)
Having some issues on -current, with ssr (simplescreenrecorder) and Discord with the microphone input.
A long time back, probably a year or so, i followed some advice to create a virtual microphone, so i could stream desktop audio over the microphone channel. But i've absolutely forgotten what file i might have adjusted.
All of a sudden, `ssr` is no longer producing audio in any screen capture/recordings.
So i guess i need to know how i can reset all pulse audio related configurations to default? I've tried looking in /etc/pulse and anything in a "pulse" folder under the home hidden dirs, but i've still got the same issues.
Any ideas what i might be missing? Not sure if ssr audio capture problems is related to recent updates. But at the least, i would like to reset any pulseaudio configurations to their defaults.
