No 10 accused of reneging on commitment to collaborate with victims' groups

The UK government's approach to the legacy of Northern Ireland's Troubles has come under strong attack by MPs, who said they lacked credibility and legitimacy.

The Northern Ireland affairs committee said Downing Street's plan to permanently close cases of serious crimes committed during the Troubles raised profound legal, ethical and human rights issues.
