The New York Jets are looking to move Quinnen Williams before the Nov. 3 trade deadline, a year after drafting the defensive tackle third overall, sources told Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

The Jets are reportedly willing to pull the trigger on a deal that doesn't net them a first-round pick in return, though they would seek multiple picks if one selection is in the second round.

Williams was the third player chosen in the 2019 draft behind Kyler Murray and Nick Bosa. He was slowed by injuries in his rookie year, but he has looked more like the player the Jets envisioned this season, with 28 tackles and three sacks through seven games.

The Jets appear to be embarking on another full-scale rebuild, as they moved star safety Jamal Adams for multiple first-round picks before the season and released high-priced running back Le'Veon Bell in mid-October. New York is the only winless team in the NFL entering Week 8.

Jets general manager Joe Douglas was hired about a month after Williams was selected by predecessor Mike Maccagnan.
