Call it a revenge game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers edge rusher Jason Pierre-Paul can't wait to play in New York at the end of Week 8 for the first time since being traded by the Giants in March 2018.

"I'm going to Monday Night Football and I'm going to destroy the Giants," he told reporters Friday, according to the Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud.

Pierre-Paul spent the first eight years of his career in New York before the team shipped him off in an apparent salary dump. The 31-year-old has produced 26.5 sacks for the Buccaneers since the deal, while the Giants have been one of the least efficient pass-rushing teams over the same period.

"You already know they made a mistake," he said, via The Athletic's Greg Auman.

The 31-year-old posted 1.5 sacks during his first game against his ex-teammates in Week 11 of the 2018 season - that game was in Tampa. He was sidelined last year when the Giants and Buccaneers met in Week 3.

"I'm coming for their necks, they know that," said Pierre-Paul, who netted New York a third-round pick that the club later used on defensive lineman B.J. Hill.

The two-time Pro Bowler won a Super Bowl with the Giants.
