Odell Beckham Jr. is still digesting his season-ending injury, but the Cleveland Browns wide receiver is optimistic he'll be back on the field soon.

"I really don't have many words right now definitely not the right ones at least," Beckham wrote Friday on his Instagram story, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter.

"I couldn't tell (you) why this happened, this one doesn't make much sense, it's not for me to question, but I believe God truly has a plan and is using me for it," he continued. "Ton of emotions flowing. Just taking some ME time, some time to heal. Thank (you) all for the (love) ... be back soon."

Beckham suffered a torn ACL in the first quarter of last Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Cleveland placed the three-time Pro Bowler on the injured reserve this week.

The 27-year-old racked up 319 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 23 catches through seven games this season. He also notched one touchdown on the ground. In 23 contests over two seasons with the Browns, the star wideout has registered 97 catches for 1,354 yards and seven touchdowns.

This is the second time an injury has ended Beckham's season prematurely. The former first-round pick appeared in just four games in 2017 while with the New York Giants due to an ankle issue.
