Slackware(64) 14.2 - Documents to Voice with Speech Synths?

Hi there, is me again XD, Well i am looking for software like "Festival", but i don't found in SlackBuilds for 14.2. well i found an alternative called "eSpeak"
Well i had compile and well right now i am downloading a gui for try to compile it for use it :D

The thing is i want a tool of this, for select text from a Document (text, pdf, LibreOffice compatible) or directly a complete file to start the speech.
Someone know if exist an external tool for make that ? or if someone have a script for use with a Keyboard shortcut for launch the script with select text or selected file ?
