Clamav thinks there is malware in thunderbird's inbox - how to find out which email carries it
by Ulysses_ from LinuxQuestions.org on (#59Y47)
A clamav scan has detected malware in a 400 MB file called Inbox which is thunderbird's inbox. Can't tell which email carries the malware.
Tried to copy the whole profile to a windows VM and scan it there but malware scanners for windows like avast and clam sentinel do not integrate with thunderbird that way, they only scan incoming and outgoing emails.
How can the email that appears infected be discovered?
