Recommendations for Low-RAM Window Manager + Dock
by Turbocapitalist from LinuxQuestions.org on (#59YCK)
I am looking for a Window Manager which can be run by itself without a Desktop Environment and which has the bare minimum to run a dock of some kind. Which window managers should I shortlist and which dock or docks? Being stingy with RAM is an important characteristic for both in this case.
I realize that n people responding will give n+1 suggestions, but I am hoping to hear advantages I have missed. It has been a while since I investigated the different Window Managers available.
I'm familiar with Cairo Dock, it is good. I also know to avoid Docky. But there are others.
