Buccaneers' Gholston self-isolating after COVID-19 exposure
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive lineman William Gholston announced Wednesday he was exposed to an individual outside the team who tested positive for COVID-19.
Gholston is currently self-isolating as a precaution. The Michigan State product also revealed he tested positive for the virus earlier in the offseason and experienced "relatively minimal symptoms."
The 29-year-old added he is still being tested daily and expects to rejoin the team in time for its Sunday matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
Gholston is currently in his eighth season with the Buccaneers. The 2013 fourth-round selection has tallied 21 tackles, two sacks, and four tackles for loss this season.
