Lamar: 'I have to do a better job' getting Brown the ball

Baltimore Ravens receiver Marquise Brown doesn't appear happy with his workload, but quarterback Lamar Jackson is aiming to change that.

Brown questioned his usage in a since deleted tweet Sunday following a one-catch performance in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Jackson took responsibility for the wideout's timid production in Week 8.

"That's one of our key players to our offense," Jackson said Wednesday, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. "I want to get him the ball, the easiest way and fastest way we can. I have to do a better job of getting it to him."

Brown was targeted a team-high seven times per game through the Ravens' first six contests this season, but only two passes were thrown in his direction against the Steelers.

The second-year speedster leads Baltimore with 27 receptions and 379 yards. He's also scored two touchdowns.

"He's a big part of our offense. We need him," Jackson added. "So we got to be better at that, and we'll be fine."

The 5-2 Ravens next face the Indianapolis Colts, who own one of football's best defensive units against the pass.
