Question on automounting a NFS share from a server

I have a synology server with NFS shares on it and have been trying to follow the guide in the link below to auto mount this on slackware. I have it set up to automount via fstab at boot, however I get a permission denied error. I can manually mount the location as root, just not as a regular user. I know that I am missing something easy, but am not sure what exactly. Does anyone have any ideas about what I'm missing?
