[SOLVED] ghostscript/libspectre mismatch, error opening .ps files, libspectre needs rebuilding

After the Oct 1st -current upgrade to ghostscript-9.53.3 (maybe already with the 9.53.0 upgrade in September), it's no longer possible to open .ps files in atril/evince/qpdfview.
The solution is to simply rebuild libspectre-0.2.9 and all is well, so I'll mark the tread as solved from the beginning, trusting that Pat fixes an upgrade as soon as he can find the time.
