Ravens' Humphrey activated from COVID-19 list ahead of SNF vs. Patriots
The Baltimore Ravens have activated cornerback Marlon Humphrey from the COVID-19 list, the team announced Wednesday.
Humphrey missed one game after being placed in the reserve group but the cornerback will be available to play Sunday against the New England Patriots.
The defender tested positive following Baltimore's Week 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Humphrey's return is a big boost for an injury-riddled Ravens secondary. Four Baltimore cornerbacks are currently on IR, including Anthony Averett and Tavon Young.
The 24-year-old is in the midst of another productive season, tallying one interception and a league-leading four forced fumbles.
Humphrey has recorded at least one interception in each season since being selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
The Alabama product signed a five-year, $97.5-million extension with the Ravens earlier this campaign.
