Are 4G modems available with handsets?

A somewhat unusual question. I access the Internet via 4G using my mobile phone. Initially I used USB tethering, but every time the base station drops and reconnects, the tether breaks: a continual nuisance. I've reverted to wifi, but I'm now wanting to connect two other machines both with the Inet and each other.
The obvious solution is a standard 4G modem/router with a SIM socket, but this means removing the SIM card from the phone and leaves me without the ability to make or receive phone calls. Things like Skype are no good because they don't work when the computer is switched off.
What I'm wondering is whether 4G modem/routers are available with handsets. Does anyone know if such devices are available?
