The player in question didn't travel for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions and hasn't been in the facility for the past three days, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
It was later revealed that defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis has been added to Washington's reserve/COVID-19 list. Ioannidis was placed on the injured reserve after tearing his biceps in Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns.
Washington hasn't put a player on the COVID-19 list since Logan Thomas joined the reserve group in July.
The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams are the only teams that haven't put a player land on the COVID-19 list since the start of the regular season.
