eeprog gives command not found

I have Slackware 14.2 x64 and trying to install eeprog from www.codesink.org/eeprog.html It says to extract the source and run make. I did that and got three files: eeprog (executable), 24cXX.o and eeprog.o. But when I go to Terminal and run eeprog, it gaves me command not found. Some help would be great.
