I thought this was too funny not to share...

So, I had a 3rd and final interview today with a new company I may be going to. MOstly a "get to know YOU" interview, but a little technical thrown in. One of the technical questions was about determining if a machine you've never touched, and have only remote access to was a real machine or a VM, and my answer was dmidecode, so they returned with "but what if this OS was a REALLY old OS, like Slackware, that didn't have those features". :D No, I didn't correct him, I just gave him the answer he wanted to hear.
