The Las Vegas Raiders are activating several key defenders from the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The players being added to the active roster are safties Johnathan Abram and Isaiah Johnson, defensive end Arden Key, and defensive tackles Maliek Collins, Johnathan Hankins, Kendal Vickers, and David Irving, sources told Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.

They are now all eligible to play Sunday night.

The Raiders placed most of their starting defenders on the COVID-19 list after deeming them high-risk close contacts to defensive lineman Clelin Ferrell, who recently tested positive for the virus. Linebacker Cory Littleton also has tested positive and remains on the COVID-19 reserve. The team doesn't expect either to hit the field in Week 11.

Vegas' defensive coordinator Paul Guenther recently described this past week's preparation for the Chiefs without most of his starters a "daunting task."
