Two dead, one seriously injured in Brant County crash
Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate a collision that took the lives of two men in their 20s in Brant County Saturday night.
In a release Sunday, Brant County OPP Const. Ken Johnston said officers responded to reports of a multi-car crash in the area of Vanessa Road, west of Simcoe Street in Brant County, at around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Johnston said police have determined that the cars collided on Vanessa Road. In a video posted to Twitter on Saturday, one vehicle can be seen flipped onto its side
Both drivers of the vehicles were pronounced dead on scene, said Johnston.
The driver of the first vehicle has been identified as Michael Kovacevic, 25, from Stoney Creek. The second driver has been identified as Dillon Henry, 29, of Norfolk County.
A passenger in one of the vehicles, a 29-year-old from Norfolk County, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
After the initial crash, Johnston said a third car struck one of the cars involved in the crash but the driver was not injured.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
