How do I convert convert YYYYmmdd_HHMMss to datetime in linux or mysql 5.6?

I cannot store, for example, 20201112_234012, in the database as datetime. This format comes from a log that I can't change in the registry, so I have to change it in bash or some mysql function to store it as datetime.
