Another McMaster student has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a Wednesday release, the student tested positive on Tuesday and was last on campus on Nov. 14 - 10 days earlier.

The student spent time in the Communications Research Lab building. The interior of the building has since been thoroughly cleaned, the release states.

Public health is conducting contact tracing.

This is the 14th person to spend time on McMaster's campus and later test positive since the beginning of the pandemic. Last week, the university reported three new COVID cases in people who had recently been on campus. All cases were unrelated.

McMaster has not reported any outbreaks, which would mean there was transmission on campus.
