Hibernation Not Working in Linux Mint Tricia 19.3
by ScottyJavea from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5AY22)
I have gone through various processes using the internet to set up Hibernation and I now have the following:
i have a Windows 10 / Linux Mint dual-boot setup.
My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad 305 with 8GB RAM and 1 TB SSD.
1. Swap file size increased to 10GB (my RAM is 8 GB)
2. Secure Boot disabled.
3. Shutdown screen now has Hibernate button as well as Suspend.
4. Suspend works.
5. Clicking Hibernate just shuts down as if clicking the Shutdown button.
6. Booting after Shutdown is normal.
That's it...what next?
Regards,
