Witnesses report Hamilton Mountain shooting late Saturday

Hamilton police are investigating after a Mountain shooting late Saturday night.

In a release, police said they responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Rymal Road East and Sulmona Drive at about 10 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses told police the suspect or suspects discharged multiple rounds from a firearm" before entering a vehicle and fleeing.

There were no injuries reported.

Police believe the incident was targeted.

Police are asking neighbours in the area to check their surveillance cameras for suspicious activity.
