Help with Network Dropout
by sniff from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5B21J)
Hello,
One of my computers sometimes drops off the network and then takes a while to reconnect. I think it might be that the powerline adapter that its connected to doesn't get a very good connection. The diagnostic light on the adapter is always green so not a lot of help.
I have tried to look at the network traffic with IFTOP but I am not sure that this is the best option to see what is happening. Is there a way to monitor for the network card resetting or dns problems?
Open to other suggestions as well. Before I install wired ethernet.
Computer is running debian 10.6.
Thanks, Phil
