Strange fonts in GTK Apps under Plasma
by sombragris from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5B21M)
This is totally weird and I hope someone can help me.
Using current with latest vtown and gcc10 save for kernel 5.4.79 which I had to downgrade due to umount segfaulting on shutdown.
I use a Dell laptop. I usually use it by itself or maybe with my large tv mirrored to it. Never had any trouble with any GTK apps.
Today I went to the office, where I have an additional monitor to use it in dual-monitor setup.
Everything worked well, but the interface font of GTK apps was a fixed with ugly Courier.
Booting into Xfce or Mate showed the correct fonts. This issue only shows in Plasma.
Tried modifying the .gtkrc-2.0 and /.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini files but the issue is the same.
I tried running GTK Apps from the terminal to see whether there is any stdout/stderr message, and there is none.
Any hint on how to solve this? Thanks!
