[SOLVED] AbiWord - Change Global Default Font
by llewellen from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5B3JW)
I have read everything I can find on the net about this and nothing works. Instructions on the AbiWord site say to:
- open a new blank document and select desired style preferences, including font
- save the document as type template (awt) and with the name normal.awt
---> in ~/.AbiSuite/templates on a multi-user system; or
---> in /usr/share/abiword-3.1/templates on a single-user system
I have done each of those and both of them but every new document opens at the default font.
Even if I click File>New using template>normal.awt the new blank document opens with the default font (Times New Roman).
Has anyone solved this?
