Need help after chrome remotedesktop removal
by BigVig from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5B3VS)
I tried to install Google remotedesktop and for some reason couldn't get it to work with chromium. I uninstalled it, but, when I rebooted, a new desktop manager was running. Instead of the taskbar on the bottom of the screen, it's now at the top. My windows key on my lenovo desktop no longer opens the the applicaitons popup.
I tried two timeshifts - one from yesterday and another from Friday, and neither reverted the desktop to the way it was before.
It is xfce and it did resemble a windows set up to a degree. Now, not even slightly.
I am really baffled and have no idea what to do.
